1. What types of stainless steel pipes does Kamal Steels manufacture
We manufacture a complete range of stainless steel pipes including seamless pipes (ASTM A312/A213), welded pipes (ASTM A358/A778), duplex and super duplex pipes (ASTM A790), nickel alloy pipes (ASTM B161/B163), Inconel pipes (ASTM B444/B423), Monel pipes (ASTM B165) and aluminium pipes. Available in grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 316Ti, 321, 347, 904L, 2205, 2507, and more.
2. What is the difference between seamless and welded stainless steel pipes?
Seamless pipes are manufactured without a weld seam using extrusion or rotary piercing, giving them higher pressure ratings and better uniformity ideal for critical oil & gas and chemical applications. Welded pipes are formed by rolling steel strip and welding the seam (ERW or EFW); they are more cost-effective and suitable for lower-pressure structural or general industrial use. Kamal Steels manufactures both types to ASTM/ASME standards.
3. What grades of stainless steel pipe are available?
We stock and manufacture pipes in all major grades: 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 316Ti, 321, 347, 310S, 904L (austenitic); 2205, 2507 (duplex); Nickel 200/201, Inconel 600/625/825, Monel 400/K500, Hastelloy C276 (nickel alloys). Custom grades are available on request for project-specific requirements.
4. Are Kamal Steels pipes tested and certified?
Yes. Every pipe undergoes mandatory quality testing including hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ECT), positive material identification (PMI), tensile and hardness testing and dimensional inspection. Mill Test Certificates (MTC) are provided per EN10204 3.1 as standard, with 3.2 third-party inspection available upon request.
5. Does Kamal Steels export pipes internationally?
Yes. We export to 170+ countries including the USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Canada and across Southeast Asia. We handle complete export documentation including country of origin certificates, test certificates, packing lists and compliance with NACE, API and PED directives.
