Stainless Steel 904L Seamless Pipes are high-alloy austenitic stainless steel pipes manufactured without a welded seam, providing superior strength, leak-proof performance and excellent resistance to corrosion. Designated as UNS N08904 and Werkstoff No. 1.4539, SS 904L is specifically developed for use in highly corrosive environments where standard stainless steel grades such as 304L and 316L may not provide adequate performance.

The alloy contains high levels of nickel (23–28%), chromium (19–23%), molybdenum (4–5%) and copper (1–2%), giving it outstanding resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, chloride stress corrosion cracking and reducing acids including sulfuric and phosphoric acid. Its low carbon content also minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, helping maintain corrosion resistance in fabricated components.
